I hear ya but what's it worth? I am typically a GM guy (sorry) as the Saleen is my first Ford. I am not too impressed with the interior, nor the fit and finish on he Saleen. My center counsel (where it mates with the shifter area) has a 3/8" gap. My dash is screwy at the A pillars, the leather quility stinks and the steering wheel is out of a Focus. Seriously, I had an old 86 944 turbo an it's interior far exceeded the quality of the Saleen.
well you know what if i had to own a chevy it would be a corvett i have always hated chevy but loved the corvetts but i would rather have my porly built Saleen any day over a chevy but that is just me. about how much your car is worth. this is from NADA
Low retail $32,500
Average retail $38,100
High retail $40,300
as far as ebay their is a new 2004 with like 30mile on it for 43,500 so take it from there i guess.
Justin, yes, it's a speedster. I has all the option (Brembos too) plus the recent Bassani X and SS. Cats, 373 gears (Ford Motorsports), JLT intake, etc. It's a nice car. Need pics
I tried selling my 2004 S281-SC coupe with very little luck for the price I was asking ($38,000). I had it listed on Performance Auto Sport for 6 months with a lot of calls, but no good offers. Towards the end, I had the best offer of $34,000.
My car sounds pretty much like yours with the difference being mine is a coupe. I have all the Saleen upgrade options except the Maxi-Grip differential. I have 3,000 miles on it too.
That should give you a gauge...I asked Mark (PAS) his opinion on value and pricing and his advice was pretty much dead on to the offers I was receiving ($32,000 neighborhood). Yours being a convertible speedster should pull in more, but I don't know how much more.
