I just installed a vortech s/c in my otherwise stock v6. I dont think im getting as much out of it as i should be i havent gotten it dyno'd yet but vortech says 330hp at the flywheel with the kit. what else could i install to improve performance and possibly break 350 hp. im looking to drop close to 2000 dollars. Not only am i looking to improve power but performance as well. any tips will be useful. im completely new to the car upgrades scene. thank you.

Swapping to a set of 4.10 gears would help a lot, a custom dyno tune would probably get you that 20 extra hp you are looking for as well.

Why are you concerned with flywheel HP? It's what you got going to the rear wheels that's important. I'm guessing your around 310 RWHP...
How do you know how much HP you have or that your not getting what's expected if you haven't had the car on a dyno. What tune are you running?

i'd go with a MSD ignition, headers, underdrive pully, aluminum driveshaft, 8.8 rear end. there are plenty of things left. not too mention, it should be put on a dyno and custom tuned for the best results. your driveshaft is only rated at 115mph, one of the next things i would do is an aluminum driveshaft for safety reasons.

Why would you want to install an underdrive pulley and spin the supercharger slower?

your right, forget the underdrive pully, got carried away i guess. you could also get that snow (methain/water) injection to give that supercharger some extra kick, plus it will run cooler. i have heard of hp gains of as much as 40 - 60.
