I gotta get a new h-pipe. My Summit one now is rusting, leaking, and never fit right, it rubs the crossmember and makes vibrations.

Im gonna put a new one on, and wrap the whole thing in heat wrap, to aid the turbos.

So, basically i need to know what brand is best, no more junk.!

My MAC fits pretty good. The only problem is it knocked against the tranny crossmember on the driver's side. But I wrapped that spot in that heat wrap and it never knocked again. So you should be golden.

I have had three BBK h-pipes (on three different mustangs) and they always seem to fit great.

I wonder how an X-pipe would work with the turbos....i guess it probably wont matter too much.

Just by reading all these rusting out threads I decided long ago I would only buy SS exhaust systems... I never have to buy the same part twice, therefore negating the original cost of the better part, with that being said magna flo or bassani have my votes all day long, although they are X pipes they should work and sound sick as hell with your turbo...

i had my summit o/r h-pipe on for about a year and no problems so far....no rubbing or hitting anywhere, and wasn't too bad to install at all

i had a h-pipe on my mustang when i bought it a friend talked me into getting a x-pipe,i'll never own another h-pipe.get a x-pipe i'll guarantee you will be alot happier with a x-pipe.if your worried about the turbos check your local muffler shops,i have a local muffler shop that makes custom x-pipes for local hotrodders at half the price.check with some local mustang owners you may find someone in your area.i believe a half way decent x-pipe is better than any h-pipe what does everyone think true or false.

I thought heat wrap was bad (very bad) on exhaust parts. Or is that just on headers?

I've never heard that. It just keeps the exhaust temperatures hotter to help the scavenging effect.
