What's the best head gasket kit (something that includes all the gaskets for the heads, intakes, etc.) for a bone stock 86 gt? I think I'm just going to replace the head gaskets, check the heads for warpage and throw it back together. I can't afford to do the whole engine right now...will just have to wait until next summer.

I see several sets of Felpro sets on Summitt for around $95.00. FEL-HS9280PT-2

Thanks,
Dave

Years ago, SUMMIT sold a "Trick Flow 302 gasket set" for slightly less than $100 that had all the gaskets in it. I was a big fan

My piece of advice in this arena is to not get any Ford Racing gasket sets because some of their gaskets are complete junk. The first and only time I bought an FRPP gasket set, it came with about 7 different water pump gaskets and not a single one worked with a stock water pump and timing cover.

I want to measure mine. It doesn't look that tall.

Corteco head gaskets, my brother worked there and these things are the best that i've seen. they have a white seal technology that will facilitate clean removal if they ever have to come off, not too mention they work damn good. i have a set in my 89 LX, my 90 LSC motor and my 327 in my truck. Their intake gaskets have the same coating too. Can't say enough good things about their head and intake gaskets. I think they sold out recently to ROL.
