I just fixed a crack in my egr tube with JB Weld. Man that stuff is tough

I usually delete the tube, but I had to put it back on for inspection

So when I was reading the back it said someone glued a cracked engine block back together and it worked

What's the craziest thing you've ever JB Welded together on your Mustang?

I used it on my 98 upper intake to hold the coolant sensor and sender in place after they each blew out on separate occasions ... stripped out ... It looked horrible but worked well until the POS manifold cracked and then it had to go!!

A buddy had stripped the bolts to the lid on the blower of his Supercoupe, and decided to helicoil them. He drilled too deep, and ended up in the rotor housing. He then preceded to fill the holes with JB, followed by a heli. Suffice to say, he had some interesting noises when he started it up the next day, because of what had dripped down inside and hardened. I ended up with that damn car.

Put me down for another oil pan repair with the stuff. I did the pan on an old mail truck I used to have.

I also used JB weld on the intake manifold when the leak was small It held me over for quite some time so I was happy

Fellow dirt racer used it to fix his cracked block and intake manifold. The motor survived until he got a new one.
