What's the deal with Dodge pickup truck drivers?

Those truck pulls are pretty cool to watch. But then again, there are so many factors that it doesn't really matter. From tire size .... tire tread ... gearing, etc. You would have to match everything like that up PERFECTLY on both trucks to determine the "real" winner power wise.

Now Justin....your a Redneck.........like me ...I just got lost from Virginia and ended up here.... I know you've seen a couple good ol' boys get liquored up and hook the chain up......and they don't care about tire size........damn I miss living down there.......

I love my Blue Oval's.......but I have grown to respect the Dodge with the cummins engine in it.....just for fun google dodge race trucks and somewhere(I saw it the other day but can't remember the site) shows 1 cummins Dodge pulling a power stroked Ford backwards.....very easily...and another...and I hate to say it.....running a stang down in the 1/4 mile at 13.5.....and it was a 4 x4............

LOL, I saw another video of an old Bronco II pulling the **** out of a brand new Dodge 1500

A few buddies did this a while back. They had one of each truck. The biggest one available, and all 4WD
A Ford F-150 FX4, a GMC Z-71, a Dodge Hemi 1500 4X4, a Nissan Titan 4X4, and 4X4 Toyota Tundra.

In the order they finished is this.
Nissan
Ford
GMC
Toyota
and the Dodges front end broke on the first pull.

About the truck running down the Mustang in the 1/4 ... let me guess, an older (pretty much stock) Mustang vs. a new truck (decently modified)? Anyway .... I recall seeing a Dodge minivan stomping an LS1 Camaro on the strip.

Your right about the stang....It was a 88/89 ........I saw a thread once that you work close to Charlotte....I take 77 down to 40 when I take my son to Raleigh to visit his mom....maybe I'll catch you later this summer.............

If you go that way (77 to 40) ... then you go through Statesville. I'm only 30-45 minutes from there. Yep, my office is in Charlotte. But that's way on down 77.

If you can make it, that would be cool. July 24-30 in Myrtle Beach, SC. But that's QUITE a drive for you, though. I think I'm only gonna be there for a few days.

A 1500 isn't the biggest Dodge I'm pretty sure the dualies are 3500. Mines a 2500

He meant biggest half ton truck offering:

F150 w/5.4L
GMC w/5.3L
Dodge w/5.7L
Nissan w/5.6L

I have no idea on the toyotas buy you get the point.

The FX4 and Z-71 denote the special off road packages for ford and chevy.
