try putting the stock MAF back on the car...see if that works....fastf50rd said:well, I was driviing the car for a few weeks with the tune and all was well. Just out of no where it started detonating with a vengence. I wondering if it's attributed to my MAF. I've been through everything, and no one else can seem to think of anything that will cure my problem. If you have any sugg. please help.

Dist. is clamped 10* base timing. fuel pressure is at 37psi w/vac off and still running WAAAAYYY rich. Filter is fairly new. The only codes i'm getting is a 137, and 173 which are right and left bank rich. I really don't think its the maf, i'm just trying to pinpoint the problem. It's getting so damn frustrating i've really been through everything. If it's pinging out of nowhere then maybe it's not the meter. Is your dist. clamped down tight? What about your fuel pressure or fuel filter? Seems funny for it to start all of a sudden. Are you getting a check engine light?
