What's the difference between Felpro 1011-1 and 1011-2 Head Gaskets?

Whats the difference between the 2? Can I use the 1011-2's on my 289?

I believe it's the compression thickness of the gasket. .041" compare to .039". 1011-2(.039)

Note, the part numbers are individual gaskets, so if you need a pair, you'll need to order two. Or just get the set 1006(.039)

Awesome, thanks,

My heads are box stock AFR 165's, the parts shop gave me the 1011-2's so I guess I'll get some more compression.

I think that the "2" gaskets have the soft copper in them and are for aluminum heads
