Whats the diffrence between drum and disc v8 spindles?

Also what all do I need if I want to round up OEM disc brake parts for the front. I mean I need an everything list of what I need. I'm debating wether to get a granada setup or try to piece together an OEM setup piece by piece.

I've found a granada setup that has: Spindles,roters,calipers,caliper plates, new hoses, duel MC,new tie rods, brake brakets, what else would I need with that?

How hard is it to replace granada parts vs. OEM 65 parts if I need them?

I not the one to ask on the granada set-up but there is no difference on a 65. However, there is a difference between the 6 and the v8.

Funny I was just looking at your site So if I already have the v8 spindles that had drums on it, all I would need to do an OEM disc set up would be what?

I'm assuming you already are aware of the inner/outer tie rods, adj sleeves, and the center link for a v8...

If you currently have 65-66, 8cyl, drum brake spindles all you need are caliper brackets, splash sheilds, calipers, rotor, and the correct hoses. Remove the backing plates replace them with the splash sheilds and caliper brackets. Attach the rotor, caliper, hose ,and bleed the brakes. You will need some type of proportioning valve to adjust the pressure to the rear drum brakes. Summit and others sell a simple knob type adjustable valve, simple and easy to install.

Isnt that only for the factory 64-66 four piston caliper setup. You cant install the granda or 70 and later mustang brakes on a drum spindle, can you?

that is for 64-68 drum brakes as the spindles were the same. in 67 the disc brake settup changed about mid year to a single piston floating caliper, so those spindles are different in so far as they will not accept the earlier caliper mounting bracket without modifying the spindle, and rather substantially at that.
