Spun a bearing due to the retards at the shop that put the cams in for him. Dropped crap in his pan, and bent a valve when they put the cams in wrong which messed up the valve guide, which also went into the pan....in short all of that clogged up the oil pump and starved the bearings. Or so thats what I have heard....he should be on shortly to clear everything up if I stated something wrong.

What happened with my motor?.. well we shall find out..

I was driving thru a parking lot and heard a faint ticking sound, just like a small exhaust leak. I didn't think much of it because I could only hear it when my music was off. Well, I shut my car off and went into class. Then when I came out to my car after class, I heard this when I turned the car on: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eKVhmUytZu8

It turns out that it was a busted valve guide due to the idiot that installed my cams. He didn't check that when he replaced a couple valves and it decided to drop out. THANKFULLY it didn't do any damage to the top of the motor (heads, cams, etc). But, it ended up chipping a piston and knocking a ring down out of place. The back two bearings started getting chewed up from the pieces of busted valve guide. So, the shortblock was crap after all of that.. But the heads were fine! I had the heads and cams and everything thoroughly inspected and checked out. They came back to be as if nothing had ever happened.

I had to put a whole new motor in and for the sake of time and money, I went with a used '02 GT motor with 34k miles. I retained all of my mods except for the cams, valvesprings and U/D Pulleys.
