No, this is in addition to the cigarette lighter, this is a harness with about 5 ports on it and in the shape of a rectangle

It's not for traction loc. Traction loc is not electronic. You meant traction CONTROL, which some V6 stangs DO have. It was part of a package.....ABS & Traction control.

If your stang is 01+ then it's for foglights.

Anything's possible, but that would be more money and headache than it's worth.

Believe me---I run with my trac/cntrl off all the time. I can't stand it. I'd rather spin a bit & have some fun sliding the arse end around.

FYI---you've got 2 little black filler plugs just in front of your armrest-glovebox. One of them is for foglights---the harness is under there. You can buy GT lamps & oem switches that fit right in online.

On mine the foglight are next to the convertable harness in the center console under the bucket, they just sit there waiting to be used. you can get a swtich from ford that fits where the coin holders are

In the shifter consol is the Traction Control Button harness, in the coin holder that is useless is where the Fog Light harness is!

I agree that it is useless . I usually have about 6 quarters in there and a ton of change in the oversized cupholder.

Buy a foglight switch..

Just pop it into the coinholder slot, and wire it up to something cool.

They came out if I am not mistaken in the 99-01 to replace the fog light switch and the convertible brake!
