You just hit your 4-year anniversary as a Stangnet member. You are now officially a "Founding Member". Congrats!

So in theory 10 years from now there will still be the chance for people to become a "founding member" even though they weren't here in 98-99...

I think they should have put a cap on the founding member status for people who joined before 2000.

Those are the true founding members...

I don't make the rules around here... I only enforce them.

I've been at 167 for a while now. Posts here in the "Talk" section don't bring it up.

nope. only technical related posts count. talk is cheap, therefore its not worth a post count. if you want to increase your post count, you need to contribute something meaningful to the site.

the only way to change it now is to say something that is good enough to earn a CT.

see this thread for examples.... http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=607126

I agree.. I think it's kind of funny seeing the founding member tag on a guy that joined after 2000.. maybe there should be a different senior tag for those people.

I used to have the founding member tag since I joined in january of 1999 but when i was put on staff the founding member tag went away.

I actually am a founding member though my account I am using now is from 2001. I signed up with my original account the week/month that Stangnet went live. Though I completely lost that account info and wasn't able to recover it way back when.

I watched the corral and stangnet grow up. Sniff!
