Latemodelrestorations.com seems to have alot of really good deals. Are their products quality? I'm looking at 4 lug cobra replicas, interior carpet, and possibly some bolt on engine components. Does anyone have any experience with the company.

They have decent parts at fair prices. They are well respected by the local TX groups. I have used them myself for numerous parts and I have always been treated well. Call them up if you are looking for something specific and they will take the time to help you find exactly what you are looking for.

Good experiences here with them. One of the first names that comes to mind when you start talking about Mustang parts.

I just placed an order with them. The shipping seemed pretty outrageous. 15 bucks to ship a 1lb box(speedo gear and cable).

LRS is a quality company that really supports the Mustang hobby, in addition to having good prices. My only complaint is with the quality of some of their restoration parts. Hecho en China on a lot of them.

I wasn't very impressed with their 4 eye dew wipes for doors...they felt pretty cheap to me...nowhere near as nice as the originals.

IMO, LRS is an outstanding aftermarket parts company. They have quite a lot of stuff, even many hard to find parts there. Ok, granted, not everything is up to par in quality. But, they do have a 1 yr guarantee on most of their stuff I believe. I have placed a few orders with them in the past and have always been satisfied. No shipping problems and I always got what I ordered within a week or less as long as it was in stock at the time. Their customer service is excellent! They go out of their way to help their customers ... at least they try to. Even one of their reps posts on here. I'm sure he/she will chime in shortly here once this thread is spotted. I have no complaints with them whatsoever.

Ok, you get what you pay for. Hecho in China or whatever, I'm sure the very same part from the same company is sold elsewhere on other Mustang aftermarket sites. Unless it is Genuine FORD, you will NOT get the same quality. But heck, even some Ford parts are garbage..... and you KNOW that. One thing that does stand out... the company "DEPO" .. they make most of the aftermarket headlamp and parking lamp assemblies and repros. The headlamps are good, but the center park lamps are crap. less than one year has passed and mine have yellow tinted , even tho the finish is very glossy. IF I had the receipt, I COULD send them back and get a new set without hassle. it's been less than a year. But alas, no receipt.

As for the shipping, it's a $15 Flat Rate for MOST orders. I believe they also have a special low priced shipping for small parts.. so you don't get stuck paying the $15 for ... say a pack of screws or valve cover gaskets.

Again, you GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. If it's quality you're complaining about , it's NOT LRS, it's some of the aftermarket companies who sell thru them (who also sell elsewhere ) . You can't go wrong with them tho. They are one of the few DECENT companies out there. The only reason you may want to go else where is if they don't carry a specific product or part. Anyways, hope this is enough to answer your question... haha

I used to spend a lot of money with them, but the $15 got annoying. Now I search around for places like americanmuscle.com or cjponyparts.com that have free shipping.

Easy solution: Proofread, and use commas in the same places you pause when speaking. Those two simple efforts will make your ramblings 1000000 times easier to understand.

Also, a lot (if not all) web browsers these days have an option for spell checking while you type (like MS Word does). Usually can be found under "preferences".

They have flat rate shipping. Anything you buy costs $15 to ship, so you kind of get screwed when you buy little stuff, but if you ever buy big stuff it's a pretty good deal.

I've ordered quite a bit from them over the years...everthing has been great! I just got a set of the new 85-86 door mouldings they offer in the other day. Wow, these things are really wavey....not to happy about them and hope they flatten out. Will really piss me off if they look like this while on the car.

I am very happy with the silver FR500 wheel/tire set I ordered from LRS.
Can't beat $15 shipping!

Although 1 center cap was missing.
Didn't matter much though,I was reusing my pony center caps.
Overall,99.9999% happy with my purchase.
