is it normal for my clutch to be very stiff. I drove my aunts 94 rodeo and noticed that clutch on that thing is super easy to press compaired to mines.. i mean my leg gets tired holding it down at stoplights.. is this normal just because the car is old. or is there something wrong with it

Well, you have to disconnect the transmission and bellhousing from the engine to replace it. If you don't know how to do this, I would take it to a shop.

Don't do that. It's bad for the throwout bearing. Plus, if the cable breaks (mine did once) and your holding the clutch open, your likely to rearend someone.jstang209 said:i mean my leg gets tired holding it down at stoplights.

yea i say ya need a new clutch..but your aunts car is prolly a hydrolic assisted clutch, much easier to operate than a cable operated clutch.
