I haven't been on for a couple of weeks. Just wondering what I've missed. I've been EXTREMELY busy lately with buying the bike, riding the bike, modding the bike, washing the bike, looking at the bike, thinking about the bike, more riding. I'm also trying to move out, so I've been looking for apartments. I drove the mustang today for the first time in about 2 weeks, man it was GREAT. I miss the radio and exhaust most of all, lol. I'm debating on whether I should park it for a while and save the money on the insurance since I'm trying to move, or just bite the bullet and keep it on. If I keep driving it, I'm gonna need new rear tires badly! Anyway, just wondering what the hell has been going on here, and what everybody was up to.

Oh man Chris, you missed so much. Well not a whole lot actually. Seriously, Paul is a mod and that's about all I can think of.

Congrats on the plans. We gotta get you a house instead though - investment time.

Bikes own. I'm to the point where I want to just get a bike instead of modding my car. I loooove bikes.

About 15,000. I've had them for a little over a year now. But I don't wanna buy new tires if it's gonna be sitting for a while. Maybe I'll just get some cheap Kumho's or something, I can mount and balance them myself at work, so that's not an issue.

JT!!! How the heck are you?! I haven't heard from you in a while (I need to check my email to make sure my last one actually went out, lol). I think I heard that Paul is a mod now, pretty sure you told me actually. Shoot I figured I'd be missing all kinds of stuff going on! Do Aaron and Caldwell still josh each other? I need to get in touch with Grady, haven't heard from him in a bit either.

I would love to get into a house, but I'm not sure I wanna stay in this area for long. So a friend from down near Austin (who has an INCREDIBLY hot sister! ) and I are talking about getting an apartment somewhere in between us.

I wish mine could run a low 12.

Even with all the stuff I have done to the mustang, my stock Gixxer will smoke the mess out of it, in ALL aspects; acceleration, handling, braking, gas mileage (and dare I say looks! ). Have you rode before?

Haha .... I was joking about RC ..... he is anti-track.

So is the Gixxer the one that you just recently aquired? I love those things. My friend has a really nice one (1K). I know if I get one, I will hurt myself ..... so I probably never will.

Welcome back!

Chris, email came in; I've been really lax on getting back to peeps (I need to get back with Grady too).
Me =

Glad to hear the bike is still so much fun. You remind me of me when I was your age - I lived for the crotchrockets. I was just talkin to my bud today. He had his 'Busa for about 4 years (it low sided at considerable speed bad. His unreal gear saved him). But in those 4 years, he put 80K on it! That'll be you!

Yes I just got it about a month ago. It's a BLAST! I LOVE going through the curves out where I live. Back roads are great for supersports. Yea, I can definitely see me getting into trouble on this thing though.

It's a 2003. It has a Micron slip-on can, some cheapo flushmount turn signals (about to be replaced by hotbodies racing ones, SWEET!), some frame sliders, a tank protector, some sort of incredibly bright headlights, and a Zero Gravity windscreen. But the exhaust sounds freaking sweet, it's a lot deeper than most of the 600's around here.

275 isn't too small for a x9, 255's are too small! I would run a 275.

So he just recently lowsided? That's no fun! Yea it's amazing what gear can do to protect you. That's why I ride 100% with my helmet, and 95% of the time with my jacket and gloves (no pants yet (MOTORCYCLE pants you perv! lol) ).

Nah, he laid it down awhile back. He's got something else now. This guy is nuts - he got the speedo to read 212 MPH, though GPS indicated a lil bit less.

Oh, I just re-read what I wrote before - I meant that you would rack up 80K miles, not that you would lay it down!

I heard that some guy on a Gixxer has been seen in your area riding around in arshless chaps.

We get a lot of used tires that we take off of cars that come into the dealership. A lot of them are still in very good condition. Some are almost brand new. My boss told me I could have any tires I wanted, but we don't get a whole lot of mustangs in, so I haven't got any yet.
