27.7mpg crusing on the highway at 65mph with 3.27 gears.

Now I get only about 21.7mpg on the highway with 3.73 gears.

With my Festiva, though...I get 40+mpg.
And on my bike, average about 55mpg on the highway, about 65mpg in the city

What does your speedometer have to do with calculating mpg?

If my car thinks im doing 75mph, when I'm really only doing ~68, it's adding extra miles to the trip odometer.. which would make me think my gas mileage is a little better than it really is. I need to get a speedcal....

With 3.73 gears, driving like a jackrabbit on crack in a town overly blessed with stoplights at rpms higher than necessary just to hear the exhaust, oh I'd say about 15 mpg. Was 18-19 before mods, but with same silly driving wabbit... I mean habit.
