Okay, so I've heard 2 different opinions, and since I have no idea, I'm taking it in.
Here's the problem:
I've got white smoke (yes, it's sad-white smoke) coming out of my exhaust. When you try reving the engine it burns more and smells like gas/ethanol. When you try reving it too, there's this metal-on-metal squealing that's coming from the EGR valve area. The pipe/tube leading from EGR valve to the aftermarket headers has a clear liquid that bubbles out of it too. Also, I have a coolant leak.
Now, the water pump has been replaced...a friend told me that the EGR valve has died and that's causing the smoke and burnt gas smell. And coolant leak is coming from the bad gasket on the water pump housing area.
Another person (whom I trust a bit more) says it could be a bad head gasket. The coolant isn't leaking profusely, only drips on occasion. But obviously enough to notice.
Anyone have any ideas?
