Ok so I have done my research on a 5lug conversion. I am doing the whole 94/95 mustang front brakes with stock fox length 5 lug axles in the back. Now I am on the hunt for wheels. I came across this package off latemodel restoration.

94-04 WHEEL & TIRE KIT, SC STYLE, 17x9" & 17X10, 5 LUG, SILVER PAINTED WITH MACHINED LIP, WITH SUMIOTO HTRZ MUSTANG

I am not really concerned with the front but the rear.

I dont really know the backspacing on these wheels, but off wheelreplicas.com the 17x10 with a 5 lug bolt pattern has an offset/backspacing of +20mm/6.25". (I'm assuming these wheels are the same just that LMR sells them aswell)

Now to my dilema. If I were to install the 5 lug fox length axles on a 93 coupe will the 17x10 (intended for a 94-04 with a 20mm/6.25" back spacing) work on a 315/35/17 Sumitomo tire? Will this backspacing work as far as not making the wheel stick out far past the fender? Or will the rear wheel have to have the 4 lug backspacing (which is obviously made for a foxbody)of 25mm/6.45"(got this info off wheelreplicas as well)? Any help regarding this question would really help.

i'm no expert on wheels, but i just ordered some of the same wheels except in 4 lug for my fox and had a few questions as well. going off what i've been told, i'm thinking those wheels are either going to 1) stick out vato-style or 2) you're going to have some rubbing/clearance issues front and rear. maybe even both. someone more knowledgeable will chime in, im sure.

There is a coupe on wheelreplicas.com with 17x9 and 17x10 with 315/35/17 on a 5 lug pattern.
Mustang Saleen SC Replica Style Wheels
I did email wheel replicas but all they said " hi, If you look on the sc wheel page you can see a fox that is converted to 5 lug in the back with 315's. As far as sticking out, I guess you would say that is a matter of opinion as it is on the ragged edge."

I Know ill probably be removing the quadshock and having to roll the fender and bang a few places here and there. Rubbing is not a big concern its just the wheel sticking out or not.
