what could i do to stop the wheel hop in my notch? It does have stiffer shocks but i dont know any more detail than that. The car hops bad sometimes under hard acceleration.

+1. check to make sure there are quad shocks and make sure they're good.

i'd address this problem really soon man. my bro didnt have quads on his car and it wheel hopped badly. he died because of it. (not trying to bring gloom to the thread, just making a point)

Quad shocks or early slappers bars. Pinion snubber worked for me. maybe not the best cure, but it worked.

1. Check if quads are there and in good shape.

2. Check tires. I switch tires and my wheel hop went away considerably..(I don't have quads on my notch)

3. Check control arms. The rubber bushings can be shot. My 91 notch had 108K on it...4cyl car too....and my bushings were shot. I went aftermarket UCA and LCA and that got rid of all my wheel hop.
