wheel spacers

does anybody know where i can get wheel spacers in like 1/2" to 1" sizes?
i would like to move my year tires out to get a little bit wider stance. wheel size is 17x7 235 45 17 with 4.5 bs. here is a picture, tell me how much you think i should go out(Best you can by the pic) i have the all the fenders rolled already. thanks guys

I've made spacers for other people's cars, but I also know circle track cars use spacers as a chassis-tuning tool so you might check out a circle track parts supplier. Just make sure your studs are long enough, most stockers are not,, so be ready to add longer studs and cut to length once you have your spacer thickness dialed in.

1" is quite a bit, anything over ½" i would get some new high strength studs regardless of if they reach or not. The worst thing to happen to your beautiful car is the rear wheels falling off while going down the road. A lot of auto parts stores don't sell spacers over ¼" so a racing catalog such as summit or jegs, or a race shop would be your best bet.

i didnt eventhink of summit or jegs, i just checked and they have some for pretty cheap. i did some measuring and i cant go much over 1/2 without some tire to fender problems so i ordered some 7/16 and some 5/16 spacers. thanks for the help

www.wheeladapter.com Fred Goeske comes highly recommended by many people. He can make any size. 3/4" or under is $40 and over 3/4 to 1.5" is $60. His are hub centric and have new studs...they are way safer then just throwing on longer studs and adding a 3/4" spacer.

265? wouldnt that be a to big for a 7" wide rim?

265 will be pushing it depending on the profile...I would expect that the wear pattern would be poor as well. I have 245's on an 8" rim and the rubbber looks to be the perfect size for the rim. I'd say 245's on a 7" rim, or 265's on an 8" rim, but 265's on a 7" rim will probably cause problems unless we're talking 60 series rubber on a 15" rim.
