Hello,

I got the 20" Shelby Razor wheels about a year ago, and they've been nothing but great. However, when I wanted to upgrade my brakes to the 14" Brembo kit (The one that costs about $1400.. i forgot the exact name for it), I found that offset was 1/2" off, and the brakes wouldn't fit. Now I'm looking at getting some 1/2" wheel spacers, but I just want to make sure they are "safe enough", and I won't have any problems with them. Anyone have any input on this? I'm looking at the ones from Maximum Motorsports.

Thanks,
Tom

As long as your using a hub centric spacer (which almost all maximum motorsports product is), you will be fine. Those self align and are very safe. Numerous 03-04 cobra cars run them as the wheel spacing and widths are sporadic from line to line adding the adapter allows more variety in offsets and widths.
