ok guys, i want to get some 18s for the look. i think it looks sweet, especially with 18x10s. but, i have heard that if u get 18x10s or 18x9s, it will hurt ur performance. is this true?? cause if its gonna make my car slower, ill stick with the stock 17x8s.... thanks!!

It will slow you down. More unsprung weight and bigger "gyroscopes" to turn, for want of a better word.

I put 18x9 on my car. I didnt notice any difference at all. Go for it, it changes the whole apparence of your car even if it does slow you down a very very little bit.

What he said. The tiny bit it might slow you down really wont matter. Go for the look!

i went from stock 17x9 cobras to 18x9and 18x10 saleen wheels and i makes me a little quicker because i get way better traction. they look 10,000 time better too. go with some chrome 18x10s in the rear they are well worth any performance loss if there is any. Plus you are rollin on chrome and for tires bfg gforce kdw2's. they are way nicer than my last set of nitto 555's and the drag radial are good too.

I think those would look nice as hell man, and I agree go with the bigger rims, they will definatly be worth it when you take a look at the final product.

Nice choice, can't go wrong with the Saleens. I have them in silver, the hyper blacks are sweet too. Here's some pics to give you an idea of what they would look like on your car, seeing as yours is silver too. 18x9 up front, 18x10 out back:

Thanks! I appreciate the comment. I was actually thinking of changing up the look and possibly getting some Deep Dish Anthracite Fr-500's or a set of AFS 18 inch Polished Cobra wheels (18x10.5's out back). Or just stickin with the Saleens, haha. Thanks again.
