I want to put different wheels on my 87, but I do not like the big chrome alloy wheels that you see on every thing now days. I want to be different so
my question is.

If I can not find some nice wire wheels 15", what regular wheel rims can I get to fit her and then get some wire wheel hubcaps. What makes of cars would the wheels be able to be taken from and still get the wire wheel discs. example: Olds ,Cadilac, Chrysler or ford products that used wire??

I would get wire wheels but they are hard to keep nice and shinny where disc can be put into the dish washer.

So what advice does any one have!

Graham

IMO wire wheels are pretty flashy as well. Why not just get some nice mags that aren't chrome?

"wire wheel hubcaps" would definitely be "different".

If you are serious about this, there are early 80's 4 banger mustangs that came with wire hubcaps from the factory. Im sure you could google it and find out what size they were and possibly find a set. I just posted in another thread how I personally feel that 10 holes are the ugliest factory fox wheel, but just changed my mind to the 4 eyed 4 banger wire hubcaps.

Didn't early 4-poppers come with wire wheel hubcaps?

That would be awesome!
