When I get rich, I'm going to get one of those Mustangs...

for the slow canadian named brian....

young lady is driving an Sn95 vert. she sees the S197 vert and says... "When I get rich, I'm going to get one of those Mustangs"

being polite (and maybe trying to hit on her), bluecar says "Yours is nice too honey." bluecar drives off with a smile because he was just complimented on his nice car, and being called rich all in one.

:D :stick:

The slow Canadian Brian got it. :canada: What my even slower American friend Jerimiah fails to realize is that my shrug was not insinuating that I didn't understand the premise of the conversation, it was that I couldn't quite understand how this experience warranted an entire out of the blue thread dedicated to it?

I mean....you don’t see me creating threads every time someone pulls up next to me at a light and says “nice car.....my grandparents have the same one”, do you? :D

You'd be surprised. Kids (early-20's and younger) always ignore it and probably wonder why I would bring such a boat to the local cruise night. On the other hand, those in their late-20's and older who still remember them always compliment me on it. Then when I pop the hood people really start to . Even looking right at it, the most devout Ford guys still need me to tell them exactly what it is they're looking at.....the majority don't have a clue. :D

Well, I don't start threads every time I get a positive comment. This one was special because of the way it was delivered. You had to be there. She was sweet but also looked like she could be lethal.

Sure its great seeing great photowork, wheels, and hoods open but experiences hopefully more good than bad are great for threads. Look at all the responses this one got! :SNSign:
