I'm getting ready to install my entire new front suspension and steering. I know I shouldn't do the final torquing until she's back down off the stands and has weight on her wheels, but I don't know when I should lube her up.

So here is the $64,000. Question...:
Do I lube up all the xerxes fittings before or after I bolt everything into place?

They should have enough grease in them for assembly purposes, however, the UCA crosshaft zercs may be difficult to access once they are installed so you may want to do them first. Don't forget your coil spring insulators! You don't want to get it all together and then see them on your bench.

Here's some more info from about a week ago on urethayne bushings if you are using them:

Black are used for torque specific parts. (suspension) They also contain Graphite in them.

Red contains NO Graphite and are used mainly for engine and trans mounts.

Grease the inner and outer surfaces of both of them when installing.

Squeaking occurs because of over tightening of bolts. Torque down your bolts to factory specs. If it still squeaks back off slightly.

You should NOT have to regrease again if you use the correct grease.

Energy Suspension Grease

They also recomend blue marine grease.
