When/where to get a dyno tune in D/FW

1. At what point in your list of mods done does one decide it's worth the cost of a dyno tune, or do you wait until you're finished modding?

2. Where in the Dallas, TX area is the best place to go?

See mod's in signature - I'm installing my FRPP 4.10 gear next weekend and I hope to do a full exhaust very soon (LT's, catted H-pipe or Prochamber and maybe a cat-back)

BTW, I stood next to and almost got to touch a Ford GT at North Central Ford today!

I have no personal experience with these guys but it wouldn't hurt to check them out.... check out USA Motorsports. sorry i can't help you more.

HPP up in lewisville, nothing but good things have been said about them on various forums.

They will be doing the tuning on my KB boosted and sprayed 302 stroker later this year

HPP in lewisville, i have never heard anything bad about them yet on any forums. They have a pretty good rep. But they do charge about $500 for a dyno tune, so make sure you have enough mods to be worth it. I would say if you have cams or some sort of FI then tune, otherwise wait. Also Dallas Mustang but i hear mixed reviews about them. Some love them some hate them.

$500 thats one expensive dyno tune, i guess everything is bigger in TX

HPP is good from what I hear, and i think Dallas Mustang can do it too but I hear mixed reviews about them. Try asking on the dfwstangs.net board for a better idea.
