where are my c-clips?

When i did my rear end with gears axles, and locker, i had a friend who is a ford mechanic help me and i do not remember where the c clips are? Where are they, i need to pull my axles for new studs

once you open up the rear end. and remove the center pin. you push in the axels and you will see the c-clips on the end of the axels.

when you remove the rear end cover. you will see a pin the goes throughthe middle of the center section that retains two gears on it. im gonna try to find a pic

the pin will have a bolt going through it at one end . you may have to turn the rear to get to it. but once you remove that bolt the pin should slide out
