there are definitely some fast evos in the spring valley forum on hondahookup.com, if that's what you're looking for.

There is no such thing as an '02 Cobra. We had the new edge '99 and '01 Cobras that are n/a, and the '03-'04 blown Terminators.

Even a cheap F-40??? This guy's an idiot!!! Even if you could find an F-40 for sale it would be at LEAST $300k... and there's no 02 cobras.

yeah I was looking for them all season at Englishtown, but even after I posted everywhere there were no takers. I offered racing for beer...video taping the entire thing and NoTHING.....all chickens... lol

seriously though the only imports that have impressed me at engl;ishtown this season were the few that are completely gutted and rebuilt and running sub 10s and one turbo charged Nissan Z that was pretty quick. BUT there was just no challenge from the "out of the box" imps SUburu WRX STI or the MITs that MOtor Trend had as even with the 03-04 cobras. NOt even modded ones came close to me when I saw them race.....no one seemed to interested in racing me though...

I got rid of my trailer so Ill be driving to the track next season...should make me easier prey now since Ill be hot when I get there and running slower. I'd still love to race a modded "fast" import....although my attention next season is going to be geared more to the Gear Jammer Bracket class and bracket racing in general since I'll be driving to the track again.

I rarely see ANYTHING in my area, unless it's summer nationals. Only time i've had an import try and race was this summer...hilarious too. i saw them get on the 395 right behind me (both kids with sideways hats), honda civiv witha body kit, tach damn near sticking out the window, a handfull of other gages and some street glow im sure...lol.

Well he sorta pulled up aside of me (he gave himself 2 car lengths) stayed at the same speed with me for a few hundred yards and then his "race" started. i dropped in 3rd real quick and was about 10 cars ahead of him before i hit 95...i slowed down to 55 (in a 65, empty highways) so he could pull aside and i could laughed at him, but they wouldnt they just stayed behind and kept going slower....

maybe if they turned thier hats the right way they could have had some better aerodynamics...ricers....

The summer Nationals is an awesome show. I go to it every year. I enter my truck so we have a gear truck instead of loading uo the show one. We always park on the hill at the burnout pad.

You haven't seen any 'fast' imports? damn dude, you need to get out more...I saw a few 11 sec Evos down there this season...as much as you're down there, you should see them too! Guys, don't be too hard on him, he's just ****in around...he's actually cool as hell. Listen, J...when I get my blower, we'll run, k? since my car was built in Canada, we'll call it an import for the day

This is laughable. Anyone who would post something like this has serious issues. Entirely unprovoked, to just post like this... Your ego has completely consumed the rest of you. You'll spend your entire life using material items to try and impress upon yourself and others, which is always a losing battle.

Heh, people just don't think. First, there's nothing wrong with imports. Second, if it weren't for other cars besides the mustang, we'd have nothing to cheer about, or take pride in, how fun would a stang be, if absolutely everyone owned one?

Follow your thoughts through to conclusion and you'll realize how ignorant topics like this are. I normally don't post with regard to stuff like this, but this topic might be the most ignorant I've seen in months. Materialism at it's best, what a good little american consumer.

So an automobiles country of origin effects it's properties? So, by this ideology, if I buy an import, no matter what kind, it will be slow, and I will be stupid, because it wasn't built in a Ford plant? Does this guy even realize that Ford Motor Company produces "Millions" of cars overseas and has a huge impact on the import market all around the world? Hmmm...I think a little self observation will produce a reality check. Ford has been borrowing technology and ideals from it's European partners and companies for years, should I not buy a Lincoln LS because many of it's components are based off of Jaguar?

Heh, I will continue to park my VR right next to my Mustang, and I will also enjoy every minute I spend driving my Mazda6. Thankfully I don't take offense to what other people think, not so much as someone could that posted the first two comments in this thread.

...

I havent been on here in months..

Well yeah i was kind of just messin around but also trying to find someone to race at the track.

11 sec evos? The only ones I have seen run that fast are broken down by the end of the night or sooner. I have heard all about them though...online and at the car wash!

NO ONE i have ever challenged from this site has ever shown up on race day. I only get some dumbasses that want to street race or just a lot of talk..

THE ONLY fast imports are the ones that have been completely rebuilt and well....i could rebuild me VOlvo and make it a 10 sec car if I really wanted to..

and for those who havent read the entire thing... my original comments were about all the "stock" imports that were supposed to be so incredibly fast with only minor bolt ons. I wasn't saying that its not possible to have a 10 second Honda.. i was talking about all the "of the shelf" imps that were supposed to be such a challenge to cars like mine and new vettes and the like.

holly cow

wow...

uhhh just a read a few replies...

Its funny that this post has been ongoing without me even knowing it. Even funnier that no one ever showed up to challenge me at the track.

i just wanted to meet up with some fast imps and race.. i dont even remember everything i posted here, but some of you need to take a chill.

I have driven a VOlvo sicne 1989 when it was my parents and I continue to drive it with 264,000 miles on it. Obviously imp quality is far better than American...at least thats how I feel, so chill on the import racist kind of comments about me. I have made plenty of posts talking about how lousy ford quality is.

WHile I might have been carried away for the sake of trying to provoke responses and ultimately a good race at the track, its crazy that some people here are so angry.

Well I wont fight you lol but if anyone does want a good race at the track this season come say hello. not sure how many friday nights ill be there though. I was going to make more sundays this season and actually bracket race instead of beating my car up trying to get better ets all the time.

wow

why so angry?

this is just a thread on the internet. If it bothers you so much dont look at it or come out and settle it at the track. Although if you talked to me like that at the track I wouldnt give you the time of day.

"nobody wants to race you probably cause your careless..

CARELESS? what the heck does that mean? careless is challenging me to street racing...which is the only kind of challenge I have recieved from this thread.

GO back to my corner? I went to the track for months after posting this hoping for some good races!

DO YOU OWN A CAR? lol or are you some kid who has watched too much Fast and the Furious?
