Hey fellas...I'm looking for a place to buy a new block...I would love to go with a
Teksid block, but I can go with an Iron block as well....If I go with an Iron block I have no idea who would make a badass block for a 32valve cobra....If ya'll can help me out with where I can find one, please let me know..
I'm going to go with a 62mm Turbo so It will have to take boost of course.

Four days ago you were on here saying that your engine was already in the process of being built and you were putting a Procharger on it. Now you need a new block for your turbocharger that you dont even have. :notnice:

I just read that other thread and nowhere in that thread did he say he already bought this stuff, he was just saying what he planned on building. In fact he was not sure at all on what power adder he was putting on. I think you need to go read that topic again.

BTW troy.. stick with the teksid put some good forged internals in there and if you have the money go big bore and you will have one badass motor.

"I have a 99' cobra that is getting a new motor built from the ground up as we speak....I'm going all forged of course"

First sentence. Call me smart, but you dont normally go looking for a new block when its already being built "as we speak". Make sure your comprehension skills are up to par before you tell someone to re-read a paragraph. Thank you, and take care:)

Well my bad...lets not get professional pal, I will be more specific. when i meant getting built as we speak...I meant the building process was on track, such as, I was buying all my parts, and debating on a turbo or a supercharger, I dont go to the shop every day to see if it's being built that day, so yeah I said it's being built as we speak because my checkbook is already taking affect....Now that I have brought up the block situation is because my builder, the good man he is, asked me which i would rather have since it is TIME to build the damn motor...and now I'm on here asking for QUALITY OPPINIONS but I guess not yours obviously...And FYI I've decided to go turbo because money is no problem...now as my first concern was yes the block and I was debating on getting a new iron block or a new teksid block...I have prices from my local guy here...but was curious if I could go cheaper somewhere else...And also, which block would be better to buy. I have heard the pros and cons on both aluminum and Iron but you can never be to sure...I know now not to ask too much advice, because computer tough guys like yourself always have something to say reguardless if it means anything or not...

SVTTECH, thanks for your advice man, I was feeling the TEKSID, but I just was'nt to sure...Most likely I'm gonna call the guy and go with the new Teksid...I'm gonna bore it up some, but I think I might go with a median bore instead of the big 3.70, but who the hell knows lol...But thanks man

Maybe he has the motor already pulled out and has NOT bought the block yet..

Well it don't matter.. you attacked another member and now you attacked me so now you have a week off to think about it or find another forum to use.. I really don't care either way.

Thank you, and take care...
