Hey fellas...I'm looking for a place to buy a new block...I would love to go with a
Teksid block, but I can go with an Iron block as well....whats better for a turbo?

The Teksid will be good for about 750 - 800 hp and you can probably find one in a junk yard. They are obviously lighter than the iron block. Ford used Teksid blocks in the Lincoln MKVIII as well as in Cobras from 97 (I think???) to early 01's. You can tell the Teksid block by looking at the crosspattern on the top of the block.
