Where can i buy the ball joint spacers for a 5 lug conv?

I searched 50resto/summit/brothers/etc and have not been able to find them. They always had them before but sure enough now that i want to order a pair of them they don't have them. I know you can use washers but i'd just prefer a correct spacer like the FRPP brake kit uses. I'm just picky. Any help would be awesome. Thanks!!!

Yes i am aware that you can use sn95 ball joints but im keeping them stock so that way in the future i can return it to stock should i choose to do so. I don't want to go through the hassle of a machine shop either. I just want to simplely buy the correct spacer!

$3 each is still cheap.

I machnined mine on my own, but in hindsight, i should have just paid the $10 or so vs 1 hour on the CNC lathe

Really, if you get down into it, its 6 one way 1/2 dozen the other. There isn't anything wrong with using a stack of washers. You'll still be able to torque it down the same and the cotter pin isn't going to let the nut back off.

Nobody said you couldn't use a few washers or that they wouldn't work. Fact is washers look tacky. I'd much rather just buy the correct spacer.

Technically the spacer isn't correct either.


Proper way is to swap SN95 balljoints. So it's basically 6 of 1, half dozen of the other...1 big ass washer, or 5 little ass washers. Same thing. Not exactly highly visible anyway

See the problem in this thread is that i only asked where to purchase the spacers. I already knew the other options and understood my situation. There have been really only about 2 or 3 people here that have actually answered the question that was asked and not filled the thread with extra nonsense. Sometimes when people ask a question, they are simplely just looking for the answer. Unless they asked for other options, there really isn't a need to inform them. fyi

I understand your point however there are always people in need of the extra information. Someone doing a search on balljoint spacers in the future might find *some* of the info useful to them even if it doesn't help you out much.

But i'm pretty sure that guy in the link makes them still...if shipping from BreezeAuto is too much

I got mine at Lowes. MAke sure they're hardened units and not too large in diameter. It they are too large they will hit your strut and you need to grind the one side edge down. The holes needs to be 5/8".
