Where can I get a new driveshaft?

I see shafts for chevys in summit, but cant find any replacements for mustangs. I have a T5 with the 8 inch rear. I believe Im currently running 1310 u joints. I see Mustangs Plus has an aluminum version for $400, but I was thinking of staying with steel, and get away from my stock shaft with the rubber inside. Im really busy, and the closest driveshaft shop is 45 mins away. Id like to just have one shipped to me. Thanks for the help!

Do you mean ANY material? If so, how bout a Ti alloy? I'm not sure I'd actually buy it, but would it be something you could get or did you mean steel / aluminium / carbon?

OK fine, I meant any common driveshaft material: mild steel, 6061-T6 aluminum, chromoly steel, and carbon fiber.

However, if you've got the money, I can come up with pretty much anything! I have designed TIG-welded 6-4 titanium torque tubes before :p

Well when I win the lotto you'll be one of my first calls. :D

So I decided to give Inland Empire a try. Thanks for the responses.

Inland's direct prices to you are much higher than if you get a driveshaft through a reseller like Jegs or summit. Why don't you see if either can get you the length you need? Just because you don't see it doesn't mean they don't carry it or cannot get it.

On top of that, many major Mustang parts retailers offer custom driveshafts in their catalog. Armed with the measurements that IED asked you for, you can go to Dallas, M+, etc., etc., etc., and get a better price while keeping it in the family. It'll be the very same product. Driveshafts aren't rocket science -- a tube with standardized yokes on the ends, with standardized U-joints, etc.
