Since the other thread regarding this is locked, let's try it again...

I don't spend as much time on the boards as I used to. I still have my Ford toys( 67 Mercury, 96 TBird, 05 Mustang GT ).

I really don't think it's a matter of anyone going anywhere (or at least off the site) per say. As I stated in the other thread, the Talk Forums weren't as lenient to general conversation back then as they are now and BS Forums like BHR, Fight Club, Game Zone, etc didn't exist back then. I attribute their existence to the “swallowing up” of most of the members that used to mainly post their non-tech topics in the Regional sections.

On the other hand, some have chosen to grow with the site and have stayed, while others refuse to change with the times and the structure of the board and chose to go their separate ways. One thing remains certain though. The Regional Forum’s aren’t going to see the kind of activity we all would like, if people continue to post in the other sections.

I was looking at the post counts for some of the other regional forums, the NW,NE and SE.There isn't too much difference between each of the last two years however there is a big drop on each one between 2 and 3 years ago.If there is a desire to bring people back to this one we should look at the NW forum as that is the most popular and see what is going on over there to attract people.I always found that the regional forums were a good stepping stone, local people would check them first and then proceed to the other forums. From what I can tell there doesn't seem to be any Canadian Mustang forum of any great significannce that would be drawing people away but there are a couple of smaller ones.

When you look at it there were basically only a handful of us posting here before. Like maybe 10-15? Mostly to do to the mods we were doing to our cars. Now a lot are finished or sold and there isn't much going on. The Regina boys, there are only a few of you left around. Canadastang, me, Little red. Are there any Toon Towners anymore either? If you check the other forum sections they are dying as well. They're filled with 18 year olds wondering what rims they should put on, no really good tech info here anymore. The 4.6 section is dead, probably 20 consistent posters and it's always the same. It's really a dying forum. The mods used to start some good threads. Now most of those mods are gone too. Daggar was good. Now it's just what ever. The 5.0 section is still alright.

I'll start the old fail safe. "Post up pics of your ride" thread. That usually gets people posting. After all who doesn't like whoring their ride. Post up pics of your kitty Gearbanger. I don't think I've seen it other than your sig.

I'm still here, but just not as actively as I used to be. Finding it less entertaining to talk about what I'm doing to the car, than actually doing something to it. Seems lots of guys feel the same way since I know alot of the regina guys are all working on something(myself included).

I check in every once in a while, but I think a lot of guys have migrated to mustangcanada.com, especially after they were featured in Cyberstallions in MM&FF. It just seemed like there were no more Canadians on this forum, and not much to talk about.

I'm in Calgary Alberta and to be honest I wasn't aware there was a Canada section in the Regional list. Just never looked.

Hey I'm still here, work's been crazy busy and seems by the time I get in and check the ol' email it's time to head off to bed. Things are a bit more under control now so I'm hoping to start checking in a little more regular. Also hoping to find out what's new with you folks since I've been gone, I see Tweeked has been busy!!

NO car touching! I was just back in Regina over the weekend to get the car off jack stands and change the oil and stuff. I miss that thing! I got a really great job doing Apple computer sales and service. I'm really enjoying it so far!

Russ - You still doing the Visions thing?
