I have been hidding my wires and yesterday I did the drivers side. Im sure one of the wires is for the A/C it also has a blue ring inside of the connector. The other wire I cant figure out were it goes it is the same type of connector as the other wire but has a red ring inside of it. I dont really care about the a/c line cause i dont have it any more. But i am concered about the other one. By the way i did mark the wires but when i put them threw the hole some of the labels came off. Any ideas on where the one wire goes?

The A/C connector should be a sqaure/rectangle shape and it does only have 2 wires. There are a couple of other 2 wire connectors on the drivers side as well. Winshield washer resevior motor (the one that squirts the water), coil, low coolant sensor. Can't think of any others...

Do you have airbags?

Yes I do have air bags. The square plug for the ac i took off when i took the ac out. And at the end left in the engine bay was round. The low colant one i cut off since the sensor didnt work anyways. The windshilde resorvor i know that one. But im mostly concered with the one with a red ring I dont know where this one goes. It is round. The coil plug is long and kinda square. Any idea's on what the red one is? Yeah i know i cant spell worth beans. lol

thanks,

A picture would definately help out. I have all of those connectors memorized and still fresh in my mind. The left airbag sensor should have 2 wires with a white fitting.

There is a ground for the main harness in that area. It has a round plug on it that goes to an eye where you ground it to the body.. You will know if that's it when you go to start it and the fuel pump won't come on. I lost the end with the eye on it and had trouble when starting my car for the first time. Cut the round plug off and spliced an eyelet on ther, grounded it and it fired right up..

I cant take a picture of it but I think I figured out were it goes. I think it plugs in to a connector on one of the battery cables. I looked inside the plug and it has one small metal pipe sticking straight up im pretty sure it plugs into the battery cable conector that is on I think the negative battery cable. Also got a new question. Im pretty much done hiding the wires but today I found a ball and a sqaure box inside the passenger fender that had vaccum lines running to then and they ran back to two things right behind the passenger strut tower. Do I need these? Also Do i need the little black thing on the fire wall that has vaccum lines on it they also run to the ball and box but 1 or 2 other ones dont. Can i just block them off with vaccum caps?

Thanks, Black 93 Fox

Are you still running an EGR valve? I don't run any smog stuff, but I kept the EGR valve and the rest of the crap that come with it. All of that stuff that sits on the backside near the pass side firewall is now in the fenderwell. All of that stuff will fit. I only have 2 vacuum lines that run inside the engine bay now. One that goes to the EGR and one that goes to the back of the intake... from the pass side.

Tim

If you need a pic, let me know... I have a few.

I left mine on because I did not want to mess with the computer at all.

I am not sure if you pulled your dash and pulled all of your wires through and ran them inside the fender like I did, but maybe this will help. My 10 pin connectors and distributor lines run from the tranny tunnel and all other wires (and vacuum) are behind the dash and inside the fender. No wires come through the firewall, so this pic might look a little confusing. Let me see if I can find a better pic.

The 'ball' is a vacuum tank fro when your engine runs low on vacuum. The 'two things' are secondary air bypass and diverter valve solenoids. If you want your heater, cruise control, and power brakes to work, don't just randomly cap off vacuum hoses.
