Where Does A Jackazz Look To Buy A Complete AOD to T5 Conv Kit?

Seriously considering swapping my 90 Notch over to a 5sp as well ... where can a tool like me get these kits with pedal assembly, block plate etc, etc.

I got a setup minus the bellhousing and clutch( which I would want to get a new one anyway) on ebay for 650 delivered to my doorstep! not bad since it was a low mileage car and warranteed...IMO

Try AMP(All Mustang Performance). I see them advertising a conversion kit in their MM&FF add all the time.

The best tranny place in the world is D&D Performance They are in Wixom, Michigan and they have kits to change from anything to anything. The stock every Tremec tranny made and their customer service is awesome.

I knew AMP from the mag ads, but when I went on there website the other day it was down ... So today they put up a message saying they are improving it ...

MPS is sending me an overflow bottle right now, but they are a bit pricier than AMP so far ...

D&D ... hmmm, I'll have to give them a ring tomorrow and see what day-gotz.

Id try looking at the junkyard for the pedals and stuff. The i would use the bulk of my money for a good tranny.

I called around to numerous places and AMP is going to be the benefactor.

Pedals out of a 4 cyl will work keep that in mind. Junkyard for them. Then all you need is a tranny, bellhousing, clutch, and fw adjuster and cable. Also, get the wiring harness that plugs into the 5 speed tranny. It connects by the kick panel on the drivers side. Ford doesnt make them anymore.

I just don't have enough time in my life right now to scour junkyards for stuff and deal with the f'd up 'tudes and prices the yard countermen throw off

If I buy from an ad company, then I can always point the finger if something is messed up in the donor harness or what not.

I know it's probably a lot cheaper to do the yard route, but I'd hafta pull all the stuff myself just to save $300 I've already gotta pull the AOD bs outta my notch

It only takes about a half hour to get the pedals out if you are going slow.
