Where does this wire connect to?

In This Image, It was the best one I could find on the internet. This wire runs from the intake down to the passenger side fender wheel. When we got through putting my motor in I noticed the wire was unhooked, But we cant find where it connected to. Can anyone tell me where that wire connects to or have a pic that can show me? Thanks :SNSign:

Hard to see the pic but looks and sounds like its for the canister purge solenoid i think its called...it vents the gas vapors from the gas tank into the intake manifold during certain driving conditions

Yeah, I have no idea what we are lookin for. But as 87SD said, the purge hose goes from the front middle of the intake (goes under the upper in the front) and down to the CC in the pass front.

The hose gets vulcanized where it is by the intake so the end might be pretty nasty.

Its a wire that runs down to the passenger side fender wheel, up by the headlights but it dont hook up to the headlights. Me and my cousin are both stumped on this one.

It does sound like the line to the canister purge solonoid, which goes to the charcoal canister.

Does it look similar to this?


Here's a pic of the charcoal canister, which may or may not be missing; some people eliminate them:
