hey guys i have a carb engine in my 5.0 i want to got back to efi but i want to plan out everything i need most of my engine harness is there i think theres a bunch of wires that are tucked in they arent plug up or anything but i was wondering where is the computer? is it in the engine bay? and the guy i bought my notch from said it was the "stock" block from the 89s but the dipstick is on the left side and the belts are differnt for my old 89 does anyone know anything about this? is it an pre 87 block? or and non-ho? i have no clue. i can get a compelte 5.0 engine but i wanted to see if i need the computer or the ecu thanks guys!
