Ok, im just curious, but is the mileage on our cars (99-04 GT's) stored in the computer or the cluster? I know it sounds like a dumb question, but someone asked me and i did not know the answer....I was thinking its stored in the computer, but does anyone know for sure?

You are correct, they are stored in the computer. All the guys that have changed their cluster out can vouch for this as their miles would have remained the same as they were before the new install.

I changed out my cluster, but I needed to keep my original odometer display and its small pc board.

It is cluster side. It's with the electronics that work with the PATS system.

What kind of cluster did you change out to? On the Autometer I understood just the small board was located to their cluster, surly Autometer didn't give me incorrect info?

I have the Autometer. What you are calling "the small board" is what I was calling the "original odometer display and its small pc board." In their instructions, it is shown in Figures 10 and 11.
