Its gonna take alot of dedication and know how. Im not sure i would try to make ur own if you really dont know the first thing about it.

Goto www.turbomustangs.com and read up. I would just buy a kit, save the headaches and car downtime.

I printed off a thread from here a while back on how to flip your stock headers and put a 89? volvo turbo on with some custom tubing and intercooler if you wanted to go all out, try a search for volvo (sp?)

hope that helps, i would post the instructions put they are at home, im at work.

yea, if you have the ambition, and time, then go for it..
otherwise, just buy a used kit, if your looking to save some $$ Trust me, i know..

By the way, you might want to try reading this stuff first...
then begin by looking up every thread and photo of any DIY/JY kits made on mustangs..

Just like others said, go to www.turbomustangs.com and read EVERYTHING. I got long term plans to build my own twin turbo set up so i've been reading up and planning everything I gotta do. It's so bad I see myself working on it in my dreams at night. I started off knowing nothing but now feel pretty confident in the turbo's thanks to that site. Some people like to buy kits but I'm always on a low budget like many others plus for me half the fun is working on the car and doing the stuff myself. Going faster is just a huge bonus.

yeah. me too, i have no problem with making stuff, and i can put up with the down time, however, i just sorta need a guide on what people have found works,... plus money always comes into it. The way i see it, if i build my own turbo...it will becheaper than buying a used superchager>? i dunno..
