I want to re-piant my car but my trims and moldings around windows are kind of faded, how much is involved in replacing all the mouldings outside of car? Can a body shop do the labor or do I have to getsomeone that specializes in window trim?

I would highly reccomend restoring your current window mouldings. The aftermarket ones never line up like the originals. On the last 2 mustangs that were painted at my buddies shop the guys bought new windo moudings and ended up putting the old ones back on. if you get some stripper like "Aircraft Remover" and strip the paint off of them, prep them with something like "Bulldog adhesion Promoter" then repaint them with plain old satin "Krylon" black they will look amazing, and you will have only spent about $20. Removing them is suprisingly simple. You need a trim removal tool (which you could even make out of some 10 gauge steel and a cut off wheel)

$7 at the tool warehouse you just slide the hook under the trim and slide the tool until you hit a clip, then pry the clip open and the trim will pop off. Im sure you can find a better description with some pics online somewhere. I would rate it a 2 on a hardness scale of 10.
