Where To Buy: Heavy Duty Clutch?

A king cobra clutch is fine for you. Want something more, look into the set up I just bought, a mcleod dual friction disk with a king cobra pressure plate. Its over $100 more for a set up like this.

Get the FMS heavy duty clutch. Got mine from summit, 160 shipped. Don Walsh designed both the HD and King Cobra clutches for SVO in the 80s. I actually talked to him on the phone about this on Paul's (KillerCanary) suggestion. The King Cobra is 5 percent easier to push down then the HD clutch. The HD clutch has stronger internals and plates. IF you want to drop the extra 20-30 bucks for the easier pedal effort, then go for it, but I figured for less money and better product I could deal with it. I don't notice a difference in stock pressure after the break in period except it grips like a mofo. I asked him if I did an H/C/I and was putting down 310 rwhp would the HD be fine and he said yes.

gotta love that mustang-x.com :nice:!!!! I got my pro 5.0 shifter from them... $170 shipped!!! great place :nice:

-but, also... did the new clutch change your pedal feel? mine is kinda weird, although, I'm not sure if it's just my car, or all 94-95s, but the pedal is a consistant resistance to the floor... it doesn't get easier, or harder as it gets depressed... are your's like this? (but most importantly, if they are, does the new clutch change how it feels?) thnx guys... that's what I'm most curious about.

there's also this one... from Jegs as well, although, I'm not partial to any company, as long as it's the same quality product, and cheap price to my door :D http://www.jegs.com//cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prrfnbr=45762&prmenbr=361
