Well, the one I have... someone else rigged. Where can I get a good quality one for a good price besides eBay? I don't wanna mess w/ eBay because my PayPal crap is screwed up. I want a K&N... but I don't mind buying a CAI without one..... as long as I can change it out to a K&N.

you can make your own pretty cheap, only expensive part would be the K/N....that, some PVC pipe, and couplers/clamps, you'd be set. Use the search button, bunch of pics annd how-to's. Of course, all the parts places got CAI kits as well

I heard CAI doesnt do much on our cars

Well.... it's not that I want one for performance gain. It's just the one the previous owner rigged up is really crappy looking. Also, the filter has duct tape on the back side and it likes to come out on hard take-offs..... so I'm gonna fix it. I don't have the stock stuff.... so I'm gonna get a CAI of some kind, or make one I guess.

Oh okay.. what a stupid redneck to put duct tape in there :nonono:

MAC, BBK, Densecharger, Steeda, etc. How can you not know where to get a CAI for your 5.0? I had a fender mount chrome MAC on my 86GT, and I could feel about a 10hp increase, especially in cold temps. Buy a quality CAI from a reputable manufacturer. Don't rig some cheap piece of crapt.
