Where to get a turbo from

for the gt-40...i dont know what i'm looking for as i've never had anything turbo charged,so any help would be appreciated

Notice the link was for a Fox body. There are great guys over here as well, but when you get your car .... you may want to post some things in the 94-95 section to keep confusion down. Same engine ..... many differences.


As for the turbo stuff ..... you can build a DIY kit for much less. And there are other complete kits out there, too.

www.turbomustangs.com is where you should start if you're looking to turbo.

ok...my next question is....what is a modular engine ?...is that what the gt-40 crate is ?

No, modulars are the 96-present engines (in Stangs). 4.6's & 5.4's. They're an OHC (single or dual) design .... whereas the 5.0 is a pushrod design.


BTW, you got the best of the best! Horizontal tail lights FTW!

Cool deal...now i know....gotta start somewhere...i can tell you all about the vette,but it was a learning process trust me there.....i wont miss the vette crowd one dern bit...it'll be good to get back to the 5.0.....i really liked my 1st (and only) one
