I am looking at a 1991 LX hatch 4 cylinder automatic. The guy I am buying it from says that it needs a flywheel. Where can I get one for a 4 cylinder. I am a V-8 guy, just getting it pretty cheap and it'll be a project later (408/351W, AFR 205s, Trick Flow Upper and Lower, 5 speed). I just want to get it running right, as I am not doing the swap until 2005 at least.

Right now I am going to use what's left of my budget to do the suspension, brakes, wheels and tires. No sense having a ton of power and not being able to take the twisties, or to stop it. I feel these have been the V-8s worst traits.

If it's an automatic, it doesn't use a flywheel, it uses a flexplate. If you're going to swap it to a five-speed, I have a flywheel if you want it - PM me if you're interested.

Hehe, so do I.

Ask 140 first, though, he beat me to it.

Flexplate. Man am I a dumb a$$. I knew that. It was late though, here anyways. Also it has some easily fixable damage, front drivers side quarter near the corner of the headlight is dented in and it needs a hood. How much should I offer?

Thanks,
