Where to get long bolts for cobra intake+spacer

Anyone seen these for sale anywhere? I need the full set of bolts for a cobra intake with a 1/2" spacer. I bought the intake used w/ no hardware. I bought the spacer new, but it came with bolts for the gt40 (2 long 4 short.. I need 4 long and 2 short). I checked the usual places - summit, jegs, 50resto.. no luck. I swear I've seen them somewhere before. I guess I can always head to the hardware store if all else fails.

The hardware store is where I'd go, get the highest grade possible.
Just take your current bolts and tell the guy you need the same but 1" longer.
I took mine and got some hex heads due to the trick flow R's limited working space

I bought a 3/8 inch Trick Flow Spacer and it came with all the bolts, so i dunno. You can take your spacer back and go to Summit and get that Trick Flow set, its came with gaskets to!! Or you can head out to the hardware store, but i couldnt find any that long. Good Luck!!!

My friend Anthony just went through this with his Cobra intake. He wound up going to Home Depot and getting threaded rod and caps for the four longer bolts that are needed. I'd say that's your best bet.

I got mine at the local Ace hardware store; as the other poster said, get the highest grade you can. However, these bolts are not under a high amount of stress. To seal the upper, there's simply no reason to have more than 10-12 ft-lbs. of torque on them - the threaded holes on the lower castings simply aren't too strong.

I can't remember how long those bolts are, but the longer ones are prob like 8" right? I'd do like Michael and the other guys said and just go the Lowes or another hardware store. I don't think lowes has anything longer than 4-5" in grade 8, but if you get the individual ones that aren't packaged, you might have better luck w/ the proper size. Aren't they 7/16?

I'd be willing to bet if you did find some kit online, it would be $15-20 bucks if not more plus shipping when you could get them for $1-2 bucks at lowes.

definately take note what michael said.

dont overtorque the upper intake bolts. the lower strips very easily and be a real pita.

done it to my lower intakes twice

I took one stock long bolt, and short bolt, and inserted them into the new manifold (without spacer). About 1/2" to 3/4" of threads stuck out the bottom - enough to secure the manifold. So I then simply measured their length and added 1" to that for the spacer. Took those numbers to the hardware store with me. It's perfectly ok to unscrew those bolts one at a time, and remove them from the intake on the car for purposes of measuring as described above and then put them back in -- in the event you have to drive your car to the hardware store.

I got mine at my local auto parts store. try them and see if they sell bolts and stuff. you might have luck there.
