You hear about people doing "chips" well where does one actually install one? Do you replace a ROM chip in the CPU? I'd like to know to see if someone put one in my car before...

I have seen those 15 horsepower chips by redline that piggy back into the MAF lines to "fudge" the readings......I was just throwing that out....u can see if the lines were crimped around the "coffin" type fitting....

The heater box isnt really an issue. As I recall: You disco' the battery, remove some braces with tiny bolt heads and undo some E-connectors in front of the puter. Pull it out of its cradle and unbolt the electrical connector.

The PITA part is getting the puter back into its cradle. Once you pull the kick panel off, you'll see all of this in about 2 seconds.
Good luck.
