There may be a stang in the background but there is not a single thing in common with the two. One is an attempt at retro and one is a successful retro.

I have pictures from a 94 issue of Popular Hot Rodding that has a picture that is duplicate of what we are seeing now for the Camaro and if you visit the Henry Ford Muesum they have drawings from GM Art Lab that was given to the Henry Ford Foundation back in 95? that has the Camaro Retro. GM was way ahead on this Retro thing it is just reverse of what the heads of GM wanted.
