How come we lost out :canflag: icon? Did the non-Canadian mods/admins on this site consider it a threat to their American based board?

no, it was there before the crash, just wasnt in the list but the :canflag: was enabled...

Ahhh, c'mon. I though #3 was funny when I found it too. Especially considering the amount of Canadian bashing that goes around on this board on a regular basis from out Souther neighbours. It wasn't meant to be a serious consideration.....just something to make you guys laugh. Lighten up.

Alright, since choice #3 seems to have rubbed our fair Administrator the wrong way, I’m going to delete it to keep the peace . I only ask that you keep in mind how insulted you were from a harmless little smiley, then put yourself in our shoes the next time you come across a thread containing copious amounts of Canadian bashing.

Yeah it was not appropriate but it was a joke. No biggie. And you're totally right with that point about the bashing. It's really stupid that the admins let that bashing against canadians all the time. Pisses me of sometimes but aint getting in those arguments anymore. It really is racism when you think about it. A thread about black people geting called nig*** would be deleted or locked right away. Kinda the same thing since we're a big part of this forum. Just my .02$
