The offset on Fox bodies drives me crazy. I would love to be able to put a deep dish wheel on my car. My buddy just bought a brand new Hemi Challenger to go with his 1970 340 Challenger and the new Challenger is the same way.
The only way that I can think of to get the deep dish is to put a narrowed rear end in my car. To do it right requires all new wheels, a disc brake setup (no point in putting drums back on), 5 lugs rotors for the front, a shortened rear housing and shorter axles. It would probably run in excess of $2,000 to do it right. And if I'm going to all of the trouble to shorten the rear I might as well put a 9" in it. That would probably add another grand (less the money for the 8.8 axles and labor to shorten the rear end, a completely setup 9" is around $2,000).
