I was under the hood today and I was looking at the distributor cap and on the post right below the cap there is a wireing harness plugged in. On that same budle of wires there is another wireing harness. Mine is just hanging there not plugged in. Where is it supposed to be?... I will try to get a picture but I dont even know if I am capable to post one yet (i thought u have to have a certain number of posts)

you are probably looking at the timing advance thing. There should be a little chip thing plugged into it, and its loose otherwise. i dont know exactly what its called.

Ya, it is supposed to be removed when you set your base timing. You can see it dangling off of the distributor wiring harness at the bottom of this pic.

ok... its called the "spout connector" i think.
